Dear former soldiers of Republic of Viet Nam Special Forces . My name is Khue and I am living in Daklak (Central highland of Viet Nam)

I have a neighbor who was a soldier of Special Mission Services / MACV-SOG Vietnam . He knows I have access to Internet e-mail and asked me to help him looking for his friends from Special Mission Services / MACV-SOG Vietnam , who now live in America . His name is Tin Vo, who was in Troop (Doan) 11, of MACV-SOG Viet Nam of Son Tra, Da Nang . He would like his friends to please contact him though this e-mail address:
vuotthoat@gmail.com.

Mr. Tin Vo now lives in poverty. Sometimes we have a chance to get together, he shares with me the war memories, the stories how the Special Forces soldiers were fighting bravely together and he often cries. He asked me to look for Lt. Colonel Bui Van Thien who was his commander.

He also said he has a brother in law, Ken Bute, who was the US Military's Special Forces advisor for his troop when they were at the Special Forces Camp at Non Nuoc beach, Da Nang . Ken’s wife is his sister. Her name is Van Bute and they have a son named Tuan Bute. They used to live in 2226 Loomis St, La Crosse WI 64603. Recently, he could not contact them for some reason.

He would really appreciate the kindness of his old friends to help him to locate his relatives in US.

On behalf of Mr. Tin Vo, I would like to express the most sincere thanks to all of you.

With warm regards,
Nguyen Khue

You can contact Kenneth Bute at 2226 Loomis Street, LaCrosse Wisconsin 54603. I need to know how you got my e-mail address and who you are working with and what agency if any. Please keep responding. Dear Tuan,
Your name came up through a Google search. We do not work with any agency. All we do is trying to locate your father because your uncle from Viet Nam has lost contact with your mother Van Thi Bute. I assume her maiden name is Vo before she married your father. Mr. Hoa Pham who sent you the e-mail was in the same troop of RVN Special Forces as you uncle Tin Vo. I am the second generation of the soldiers who fought for the freedom of Viet Nam , just like you father and your uncle Tin Vo.
Again, the e-mail sent from Viet Nam was from you mother’s brother. He asked a neighbor (Mr. Nguyen Khue) to send to us.

We thank you so much asking us to keep responding. Many thanks for helping us to ask your mother and your father to contact your uncle. He does need help.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,

Loc Ba Tran
